Kristiansand Ishockeyklubb kan i samarbeid med Young Prospects Development Camp (YPDC) ønske velkommen til Idda Arena på 4 April - 6 April 2025.
Young Prospects Development Camp (YDPC) består av trenere og spillere som elsker hockey. Vi har valgt å jobbe sammen i YPDC for å skape uforglemmelige opplevelser for barna. Vårt mål er å gi unge idrettsutøvere best mulig utbytte av å delta på campen. YPDC fokuserer sterkt på ferdighetsutvikling både av og på isen, på mental helse, på å redusere restitusjonstiden, på barmarkstrening, og mye mer.
Våre campledere har erfaring fra NHL, AHL, NCAA, CIS, OUA, USHL, BCHL, OJHL, og vi er stolte over å tilby høy kvalitet i alle ledd.
Alle deltakere får trenings-t-skjorte, treningsshorts, og en måltid hver dag inkludert i prisen. For å sikre treningstøy i riktig størrelse, må man registrere senest 21.03.25.
Draktene deles ut ved camp start og skal leveres tilbake ved camps slutt.
YPDC er for alle spillere født 2007-2012 og 2013-2017.
Dette er en camp for deg som virkelig vil noe med ishockeyen!
Målvaktene får egen pris, på is trener, og fysisk trening som er tilpasset målvakter på øvrige pass.

Justin Stevens: YPDC Head Coach & Associate Coach - University of Ottawa Men's Hockey
Justin is the founder and Head Coach of the Young Prospects Development Camp (YPDC) & current associate coach with the University of Ottawa Men's hockey team. Justin previously served in a similar capacity at the University of Guelph beginning in 2017. From Brantford, Ont., Stevens spent five years playing university hockey at Mercyhurst University (2012-14) and Carleton University (2014-17). His junior career included stints with Hamilton and Burlington of the OJHL, Youngstown of the USHL and Pembroke of the CCHL. He also signed a pro hockey contract and played for the SPHL, Roanoke Rail Yards Dawgs. Justin has participated in the Los Angeles Kings Coaches Summit as a Guest Coach at their Annual Development Camp.
Larry Stevens - Assistant Coach
Larry is a former major junior hockey player who later became an author and success coach. Coming from a family with a strong hockey lineage, he has been actively involved in coaching throughout his three sons' careers—all of whom have played at the pro or semi-pro level. His brother, John Stevens, is currently an assistant coach in the NHL with the Vegas Golden Knights and previously served as head coach of the LA Kings and Philadelphia Flyers. Larry brings loads of energy and experience to the ice and will be sharing his experience in the mental strength seminars.
Jonathan McKay - Goalie Development Coach
Jonathan is originally from Ontario, Canada, currently living now in Kristiansand, Norway and is a goalie development coach. He played four years for Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, Junior A, SIJHL and SJHL. He has also played for Boise State University in the USA. He is a certified coach from Hockey Canada.
