DAY 1 - MASTERING MOVEMENT OF THE HIP & PELVIS
DAY 2 - PROBLEM SOLVING DAY
Clinical reasoning in the assessment and management of hip pain – A live problem solving day
Understanding aetiology and muscle function and having the technical skills to perform tests or prescribe exercises are all important foundations for successful management of the patient with hip pain. The next step is optimising your clinical reasoning. This problem-solving day aims to provide live demonstration of how you might:
- determine the primary needs, deficits and underlying drivers of the individual,
- by asking important questions, observing how the patient performs meaningful tasks, selecting the most appropriate tests, interpreting the information as a whole, and
- designing an effective, tailored management plan.
This will be a very practical and clinically relevant day where we have live patients with hip pain, that will be assessed and given education and rehab. There will be plenty of time for discussion and clinical reasoning.
This is great way to bring together your technical skills to optimise your assessment and management workflow and outcomes.
