Det som før handlet om å beskytte fysiske penger og mer håndfaste verdier mot lokale trusler, handler nå om å beskytte all informasjon, finansiell informasjon samt informasjon om ansatte og kunder, og om virksomheten i seg selv, fra digitale globale trusler. Samtidig settes det stadig strengere krav til hvordan vi skal håndtere arbeidet med cybersikkerhet i virksomhetene. Arbeidet med cybersikkerhet og -risiko står derfor naturlig nok høyt på agendaen hos norske virksomheter i dag, også for finansielle institusjoner, og en helhetlig virksomhetsovergripende tilnærming til informasjonssikkerhetsarbeidet ansees som nødvendig. Men hvordan jobber vi med informasjonssikkerhet når økosystemet har såpass høy kompleksitet og resursene også er begrenset? Er pengene våre og de finansielle tjenestene trygge?
