NIC2024: Intercultural communication and professional practice

The yearly conference of The Nordic Network for Intercultural Communication (NIC) will be hosted by Centre for Intercultural Communication (SIK) at VID Specialized University campus Stavanger, 27-29 November 2024. 

The conference aims to promote cooperation between researchers and practitioners interested in the field of intercultural communication. We welcome scholars from various disciplines as well as practitioners with interest in aspects of cultural encounters and professional practice.

Conference fee: 

- Option 1: 3150 NOK. This includes participation in the conference for 3 days, lunch, coffee breaks, Poetry Evening (international buffet included) on Wednesday evening and Conference dinner at VID Specialized University on Thursday evening. 

- Option 2: 2650 NOK. This includes participation in the conference for 3 days, lunch, coffee breaks, Poetry Evening (international buffet included) on Wednesday evening. The Conference dinner at VID Specialized University on Thursday evening is NOT included

- Option 3: 950 NOK. This includes participation in the conference for 3 days. NO meals or coffee breaks are included. 

Please note that after the registration deadline (1. November) meal options cannot be changed.
