30 varied workshops, Salsa concert with the 11 piece orchestra SON CANDELA Saturday evening, several dance shows, outdoor social dancing and we will give you some NEW sessions to the festival Sunday evening:
- a panel debate raising awareness on unhealty behaviour on the social dance scene
- a music & dance forum with dancers and musicians contributing from the stage
- the artistic film "That voudou that we do" presented by the creator himself, choreographer Thomas Talawa Prestø
And last, but not least, MOR FLEX will be hosting also this year, against all odds :D

Venue
Riksscenen is situated in Schous Kulturbryggeri, Trondheimsveien 2, lower Grünerløkka. Riksscenen is the Norwegian hub for traditional music and dance, and can offer you professional, cushioned, wooden dance floors in the workshop rooms, and amazing sound system for both live concert and djs. The entire festival program will take place at Riksscenen.
Together with our venue Riksscenen, we will be following the Covid-19 guidelines closely, and prepare the festival program accordingly.
The festival program will contain the following:
- Parallel workshops in different rooms during two full days, lead by some of our finest dance teachers in Norway
- Salsa concert with 11 piece orchestra Son Candela Saturday night, djs playing great tunes before and after
PD! The Son Candela concert included in the festival pass, is the late night concert starting 22:00 (doors opening 21:00).
(There will also be an early evening concert from 19:00 sold as just concert for audience outside the festival.
This way more people have the opportunity to see the Son Candela concert :D ) - Dance shows representing teachers, dance schools, & some independent groups
- Outdoor Social Dance between the Son Candela concerts
- Interesting forum on musical roots and influences with contributing dancers and musicians on stage
- Live debate on a difficult, but extremely important topic: How to build a healthy and safe environment in the social dance scene.
- Film presentation of the artistic dance film "That voudou that we do"
