Welcome to Winter Wonderland & Tango!
Winter Tango in Lillehammer has a long tradition. It started in 2004, and through the years we have received visitors from "all over Europe" who have enjoyed tango and skiing – in the city which hosted the Winter Olympics in 1994.
The weekend 6 - 8 March is all about good music and a great social atmosphere, where everyone will get to dance “a lot with many”. Think of an intimate milonga setting where understated dance movements are more appropriate than high boleos; this event will suit everyone who likes to dance in harmony with the other dancers on the floor.
Music
We are very pleased to announce that during the weekend you will be able to dance to the excellent music of two DJs:
- Celine Deveze from France
- Omar Saab from Sweden
and to the wonderful music of orquesta típica:

It will be Tigertango's fourth visit to Lillehammer. They play dance music, and will alternate with the DJ, so do not worry, you will be able to dance a lot.
Winter Activities
Skiing On daytime Friday we will organize a guided skiing trip. We go by bus (or car) from the train station to Sjusjøen or Nordseter, where we have wonderful options for cross country skiing.
Icebathing & Sauna At noon Saturday you may join us for sauna by the lake Mjøsa.

- 17:00 - Common dinner at Restaurant Hvelvet (2 courses predetermined, will be announced Tuesday the same week, costs 199 NOK (pr.december 25)).

Saturday 7 March
- 11:00 - 13:00 - Icebathing & sauna by Lake Mjøsa
- 14:00 - 18:00 - PractiLonga, DJ Celine
- 20:30 - 21:00 - We serve a welcome drink
- 21:00 - 01:00 - Milonga, DJ Omar
Sunday 8 March:
- 12:00 - 16:00 Milonga, DJ Omar and live dance music with orquesta típica Tigertango
Travel
Entur.no for train tickets. The nearest airport is Oslo Airport Gardermoen, from there it is a train ride less then 2 hours. Runs every hour.

Cost
- Fee for participants Friday - Sunday: NOK 1400 per person (non-refundable in case of cancellation)
- Earlybird in December, use promotional code "December" and the fee wil be reduced with NOK 200,-
- Note that if you register with a partner, only the person making the registration will get the confirmation e-mail, and he/she will have to complete the registration and pay for both.

We have a tango-deal with
- Stasjonen.no where you have 15 % discount. You can choose room for 1, 2, 3, 4, or more. There is a kitchen in the floors for making your own food.

- After registration we ask you to book your room imidiatly to have this discount.
Registration
- Registration opens 1 of December. Early bird-discount in December!
- You are allowed to register for 2 persons, but only the first one get the discount.
